July 7, 2000 - Galad the 'Good'
Yesterday I was out with my newbie character, working some stealth, and decided to check out the good old Orc Fort. I get there and a guy comes riding out to the road with really low health. He yells: Heal!! Of course, I stand there like a dumbass newbie wishing I had my main so I could finish him. But he heals himself, then heads back. I follow him to the lich room, where I slide right back into my old routine: hide in the doorway. ^^
Well, he's fighting the lich and a bone magi that somehow got in there. He keeps riding to the door but can't get through. And of course, the final outcome is his death scream! The lich is all that's left and it attacks his horse, so I sneak up to the corpse, loot something, hide. I repeat this until I am almost overloaded. Then I run out and hide, waiting to go blue. All the while, there is nobody else around!! Who could ask for anything more?
I hit the bank and count my loot: 3k in gold; some fish steaks; a pile of cloth and bandages; a surpassingly accurate, substantial, silver axe of ruin ^^; and a GM bow. D'oh!! I somehow missed the silver bow I saw him using!! I quickly recall back and head over to his corpse. I couldn't see the bow, so I start taking the gems (I like gems) when I see someone approach. I hide and he starts to loot. Then the corpse turns to bones. I open it while hidden to see him grab a bow - the silver one, damnit!! Some critters attack him so he rides off. Meanwhile, I finish cleaning out the remains and I'm soon blue, so I head out to the road. When he sees me, he attacks! (WTF?) So I run east to the second bridge and use a tactic I've used in the past: I cross the bridge and as he is riding over, I teleport across and hide. He crosses back and reveals me, so I teleport back over. He comes across AGAIN, and I teleport back, run a little and hide once more, successfully losing the dumbass.
Back at the bank the moron starts telling me how bad I suck because a can't fight. I'm like: "I don't even have fighting skills, dumbass. This is a looter!" I swear, OSI should at least put an IQ restriction on this game!! Anyhow, I ended up heading to the Britain bank in Trammel and selling the silver axe for 8k. Not a bad 12k+ loot from one person by a newbie character. ^^
June 29, 2000 - Galad the 'Good'
Last night there were some duels going on at Deceit, and a smart looter knows how to benefit from such situations. ^^ There was lots of loot to be had, but the best were two loots in particular. These are by far my favorite types of loots: telekinesis loots!!
The first was actually up by the bone knight room. It was beyond the wall area, at the double-arches leading out to the bone magi. I stroll by and notice two sets of bones. One set is on the ground, but the other set is on top of the arches. The bones on the ground are looted clean. However, the bones on top of the arches are untouched, so I proceed to loot them bare! I love silver weapons!!
Later on, I'm heading down into the lich lord room and notice a bunch more bodies. Most are looted, but I notice one body on top of the double doors. (Hint: If at all possible, try to block people so that they die on closable doors or in archways!!!) I hide by the door and see a few people stop to look, but nobody is wise enough to loot. The body goes bones and I loot at my leisure, using telekinesis to open the corpse. Again, some great stuff. Both times I was overloaded!! hehe
I can't emphasize enough: look for unique ways to loot! The telekinesis spell has brought home a LOT of bacon for me - and they are the safest loots, since nobody can touch the corpse (including the owner) unless they use this spell. All you do is simply wait until it decays to bones. ^^
June 23, 2000 - SupaMojo of Pacific
I was hanging around town pretty bored, so I decided that I would stir things up a little bit. I polymorphed into a chicken, and started saying things along the line of "Out'a my way, Im a chicken" or just plain "Squuuuuuuuuuark!". Sure enough, I get like 3 people chasing me around Delucia trying to kill me. It was fun, and eventually I turned back into a human. Those 3 kept chasing me becuase I was still grey to them, and a fourth person on a horse joined in. The new guy on the horse got close enough to attack me, and was immedialty guard wacked. I hid, and 2 of the original chasers wandered off. The third one stayed next to the dead guys corpse.
Before polymorphing, I had removed everything from my pack except the one of each reg required to polymorph, so I want very worried about dying. I walked up to the corpse. The alive guy didnt attack me, so I check the contents of the body. Well la dee da, there is one chest, and they are always full of stuff, so I grab it. This is where it gets wierd. Suddenly, I get attacked my both the guards and Noto. Well, Im dead so I go to the healers, get ressed, and head back to the corpses. The Noto has left, so I snatch 200 gp off of the corpse of the blue and hide. The blue comes back to his corpse, and starts asking people if they looted him. Eveyone says no, but I figure one of them did and is just lying. Eventually they all clear out, and I start to wander away. As a passed my corpse, I gave it a glance and wonder of wonders! Theres the chest. Guess everyone thought that the Noto had killed me. Anyway, in the chest there was around 200 of each reg, 3 magic weapons, blue sandals, and about 20 of each potions. It was fun.
June 6, 2000 - Galad the 'Good'
Last night I was working closely with Ifrit (aka Curtis E Looter) down in the depths of Deceit. We ran across someone who died in the double doors by the Lich Lord room. There were two anti-looters guarding the corpse, just itching for us to go gray. I checked the corpse and it had squat worth taking. But there was a poison elemental coming down the hall (why do they always gravitate around me? Hmmm...) so I dropped a Trammel stone (I was blocked in the doorway by the anti's) and they think I'm going to take some cheesy plate. The elemental is upon me, so I skip through the gate. Once on the other side, I take a few steps and drop a stone to go back. I step through and immediately hide. Unfortunately, the elemental is on one side of the doors and the anti's on the other. Ifrit is talking with them and they are saying how bad the Galads suck!! Hmmm...they don't know us well at all now do they!
One of these punks, Dawg, I run into shortly after in the fire elemental area. He's in the small room where the liches spawn, in the corner. So I go through my usual routine: I lead the poison elemental in and across the bridge. I go in through the secret door above and close it immediately, then walk as far over as possible, so the PE is close to that lich room. I then hide, and wait for it to target the poor sap in there. Once it targets, I run out and if they are still inside, I block the doorway. In this case, Dawg ran out, so I got to the bridge first and hid. In the middle of the bridge he went down for the count. Who's sucking now, pal? After the PE goes off after someone else, I load up: full GM plate armor, silver spear, GM kryss, 2.5k gold, a few regs (dexer) and recall scrolls (to fill charges in my runebook) and some gems. Full loot. I LOVE FULL LOOTS!!! And I love vengeance. =]
Ifrit and I shared a few chuckles while Dawg's ghost Ooo oOo'd at us. Hehe, bad Dawg! ^^

Also, last night, I was at the house unloading loot, chatting it up with Joel, and Evil (who had just logged on). This chick was riding around the house, acting suspicious, so when she stepped on the front steps I banned her. We went out to talk with her and she claims she needed help. At first I didn't trust here, until she asked for a gate! ^^
I walk out of the house, open my runebook to page 6 and open a gate. Miranda thanks me and walks through. Me and Evil run through right after. Evil says: "Hmmm, this doens't look like Moonglow." Miranda agrees and casts night sight - and she appears to be in the 'shroom room. Hehe...a few steps later and I teleport over to her corpse. A pouch of 30+ of each reg is just what I need, since I was running low on regs anyway. Not to mention some gold and a couple of weps. You know, I don't know why the heck I don't keep UOSU on more often!!!
June 1, 2000 - Galad the 'Good'
Well, this is my first tale since I've been back to UO - two weeks now. So, I was in Deceit last night...
I had just banked a few K worth of gold from killing liches and recalled back to the LL room in time to see a guy bite it. However, I see the lich who killed him take a crate, then a pouch! So I attack the lich but the guy's friend finishes it before I can and the corpse is blue to me. Whatever, I outloot him and hide. He doesn't even notice and heads back into LL room. So I drop my Trammel stone, go through and count my loot - 4k worth of gold and about 100 of each reg divided in the pack, a pouch and the crate! Ka-ching!! Then I head down into the LL room and there's a body in the lower corner. So I hit my transparency, and camp out hidden. 5 minutes later the guy who ownz the corpse comes running down. By this time another guy is camping, not hidden. The victim asks the guy to move (must've been some kinda newbie - all he needed to do was his tranparency or do an all names). The guy ignores him and I'm hovering over my keyboard, ready to out loot him and the victim. Suddenly the corpse turns bones, and I strike! The weapon is a silver fork, and since I don't have a vendor yet and have GM swords, I leave it. I grab the gold (2.5k) and his yellow GM armor. Meanwhile the guy is whining and me and the other dude are laughing out loud - Trammel loots rock! Everyone always brings their best weaps and wear their best armor in Trammel!! ^^
So, later on last night I hook up with Evil and give him the armor, since I don't wear any. He heads down to fight some LL's and I head up to the shroom patch. I'm sitting there for a minute when I PE surprises me! Figures, I fail my hide and my invis. fizzles! Doh!! I try to get off a tele, but keep getting interupted...I bite it! (In Felucca, mind you!!) So I run all the way down to the LL room and cant find Evil anywhere!! Shoulda joined his party! So I run all the way back up to the bone knight room, finally get a res and heal and head down to the shroom room. On my way, I meet a chick and ask her for some tele regs - so I can get to my corpse safely without blowing up. She ignores me and drops a Trammel stone. I'm thinking:WTF? A shade is attacking her, but big deal. Then suddenly she takes a flying dirt-nap!!! While the shade is taking on her horse I search her body: no pouches, no regs, cheesy weaps and armor, but 5k gold!! Well, I grab the gold and head over to my corpse, just as it turns to bones. I loot it and nothing had been touched!! Damn, talk about lucky, especially in deceit where scoundrels are so abundant. So I camp out hidden until I turn blue.
After this I head down deeper and meet Evil and we head into the fire ele area. There's a lich lord in there, and through me blocking the bridge and Evil blocking the secret door we end up getting someone else killed. Since we aren't in each other's party yet, we both drop a trammel stone. Since nobody else is around but Evil, I make an early grab for the loot - 6k gold! I get a few weaps, etc. as well, but I emerge into trammel WAY overloaded! I'm carrying 11k in gold that I looted, not to mention some odd GM armor pieces, GM and magic weaps and a bunch of gems.
All told, I must've LOOTED about 25k worth of gold, not to mention a couple average silver weps, GM armor and weps (katanas and hallys)and regs. VERY PROFITABLE!! ^^
May 29, 2000 - Galad the 'Good'
Here's one of my most INTERESTING loots to date! I'm in Deceit and I head up to the bone knight room to work some wrestling in 'the wall'. Just as I get to the wall a guy bites it. Kewl, I open his corpse: some nice looking black GM armor, some GM weaps (katana, hally) and some pouches. I drop my trammel stone, wait for it to open (way too many people to try to get away normally) and attempt to loot - no can do!! WTF? I try to loot the 2k pile of gold, but it doens't move. My gate winks out and I try a few more times from different angles - nothing! D'oh!!
Okay, I work my wrestling a bit instead, damnit! Finally he turns to bones and everyone is trying to loot him. Turns out his bones were ON TOP of the arch where everyone forms the wall! I head out to the other side of the wall and keep trying. Then I get a brainstorm! Telekinesis! Sure enough, I am able to open the corpse, but still can't reach. I move in closer, and WOOHOO!! I can loot!! I loot the whole bag of bones clean, with everyone else standing around like dummies!! Very, very kewl loot!! I guess that spell is actually good for something!! ^^
"Hehe...I was thinking of some of the funny things that have happened in UO and thought I'd post them. Hopefully you will share with me YOUR funny stories and we can add some more humor to this board...
So I was at the Keep and I looted a bunch of people, so this crew decided to come after me. They chased me inside and I recalled out. I came back and they chased me, so I ran and recalled out. (I was in looting mode - no armor or weapons.) So I recall back and my friend Galad (the 'evil' Galad) is there with a newbie character and wants a gate to town. NP. Vas Rel Por. Right in the middle of casting one of the guys attack me. So I run around my friend and he follows (on horse mind you) and I just keep running around in circles around the other Galad while he is ROFL!! 'Twas a funny sight. Later he and two other guys on horses tried to get me - over and over and over. I would lead them on a merry chase and recall before they could gang-rape me. Then I'd recall right back and it began all over.
But remembering that guy chasing me around in a circle around Galad still makes me chuckle. Hehe..."

"Then there was the time when I was fairly new to Sonoma...
So I'm at the Valley with the other Galad and some guy dies. (Go figure.) So we proceed to loot him. I think the other Galad got the best stuff - he was a looter long before I was. So I go down to the beach and the guy there is ressed. I'm talking to him and a bad spawn kills him. I run toward the water and bite it, too. So we both run and find someone to res us (luckily!!) When we come back, some guy named Capn Crunch is there at my body. I run over and loot, but he got a bunch of stuff, including my runes! So I beg him to give me just 1 of each recall reg and my rune to get back.
Crunch: Me HONGKONG. No English.
Yeah, right. I've seen him in town. BS all the way. So the other guy who got ressed it talking to this chick on the hill, while Crunch is working on a Titan. The other guy is getting equipment from her. Crunch rides down close to the Titan to finish it off. His health was down a bit. All of a sudden the ressed guy and the girl para/combo him and he goes down SOOOOO fast. I just chuckled as I looted my stuff, the first guy's stuff and Crunch's stuff. Hehehe... "

"Speaking of Captain Crunch....
I had been looting his
guild mates all night
at the Keep. They died several times and we're quite ticked off
at me.
After doing a bank-stop,
I recall back to
the Keep and notice a new group of Azn mages
fighting 3 avengers. Suddenly 2 of the avengers turn on me and I
kicked the bucket.
Crunch just happens to show up, sees my corpse and proceeds to loot me. Since I had been grey most of the night, he must have assumed my corpse was grey, thereby safe to loot.
One of the mages goes "Crunch, why are you looting Galad"
Crunch: I'm not....i ain't grey am i you dip#$%$ (he was grey though)
Azn Mage: Kal Vas Flam, Corp Por
Crunch's health goes waaaay down and starts to make a run for it. With all of my loot he was weighed down and ran out of stamina. He couldn't recall and couldn't run. So he casts invisibility on himself to escape the mage.
Azn Mage: you're lucky i'm out of mana Captain Crunch
Captain Crunch: (comes out of hiding) hehehe...you almost had me
Azn Mage: Kal vas flam, kal vas flam
Captain Crunch: ooOOoo ooOO
I'm killing myself laughing....Crunch is soooo pissed. The mage procceds to ress me while Crunch is trying to explain to the mage that I'm a looter and he was just getting revenge.
I get ress'd, get the loot from my body, and then loot Crunch's body since it was grey. I"m soooo overloaded I couldn't move. Fortunately the mage opens a gate to the bank.
Well....twas the beginning of a feud between Crunch and the Galads. Haven't seen him around much lately. Anyone know where he's been?"
"So I had just been at my house on Dagger Isle and was banking in Delucia, with the intention of logging off at the Inn when I was done. But a greedy urge took me and I decided to take one more run by the Orc Fort (back before I made the Keep my permanent looting grounds). I arrive and I see "The corpse of *insert AZN name here*" appear on my screen. (What the heck?) Someone had bought it deep in the fort. Hmmm...his corpse looked good. So I run in and loot. Tons of packs, armor, loot, loot, loot! Unfortunately the local natives weren't impressed. They start to form a resistance, blocking my escape. I soon become out-flanked and get pressed back to the northeast corner. As I frantically try to recall out, they overwhelm me and I go down! (Again, back when I was fairly new on Sonoma.)

I run back to Delucia, grab a res, re-equip and recall back. The locals have found other people to attack, so I run in and loot my body. Whew!! Then suddenly another name comes on my screen (how does that keep happening?!?!): Capn Crunch. Damnit!! He's been pissed at me ever since I looted him in Cyclops Valley - and with his run-ins with the other Galad. Of course, I see "Corp Por" and my health begins to drop fast. I forgot to cast reflection. I get a bad case of lag...
OooOo ooO oOoOO
Grrr!! I run back, yet again, to Delucia and get ressed. Crunch is banking my loot (damn him) and I ask him why I couldn't report him for that murder. I guess during the lag a bunch of Orcs pitched in to finish me off. Damnit!! I shoulda logged as I had intended. I'm not really paying too much attention, but I remember Crunch tell someone something about looting a house. Whatever...
I log and go to bed, a little frustrated. About 20 minutes later, I'm just about to nod off when I get this dreaded thought. CRUNCH!! I bolt out of bed and make a made dash for my computer. When I log back in, I recall out to the house. I see a table outside and my stomach starts to twist. I open the door - unlocked!! There's a book on the table inside that says: "Thanks, Galad. You da sh**."
CRUUUUUUUUUUNCH!!!!!!
Heheh...the moral of this story: Never take your house key and rune out on an adventure! Also: When you're ready to log out, do it! That way you won't do something stupid!!"

"Okay, I'm at the Keep again. I'm hiding in the middle of the road, waiting for the critters to target other people, when this guy rides up with an avenger hot on his tail. He rides into me and stops. The avenger kills him. Well, his corpse was right at my feet...
So I finish looting him and I see a guy on the other side of the arches with REALLY low health and some warriors on his tail. He's running for the exit, so I Rel Por in front of him and hide. He goes down at my feet...
After I've looted him, two other guys die by avenger on the road, nearly side by side. I run out and open both corpses and hide. There's one pack in each with some serious stones, so I drop one in the pack on the other corpse and grab it. I hide again (against the hill, under a tree) and patiently wait to go blue again.
Whistling, I recall out to the bank, then make a quick trip to the house...
(One of my more obnoxious moments, but the quickest, easiest loots I've had so far!")

"Okay, so I'm looting at the Keep. I'm upstairs and I see: "A corpse of Nana" come on my screen. (The looting God's sent me another sign, I guess...) I run down, through the spawn room to the room with the entrance entrance to the lower levels. Someone is standing near the corpse (blue, thank goodness!!), so I walk up and hide. There are two packs and a bunch of useless stuff. So I drop one bag in the other, grab it and hide again. While I'm laughing with glee at all the regs, and 25+ gems and gold that I got, the ressed Nana comes back to loot her corpse.
Guy on Horse: Someone
looted you
Nana: WHAT!?!
Guy on Horse: He's hiding right there
Nana: Why didn't you get my stuff for me?
Guy on Horse: Did he block you? [Note: she died behind table]
Galad: No, I just looted her *HIDES*
They try to reveal me and I hide again. The reveal again and I run out of the room, Rel Por out of the Keep and hide until I'm blue.
Later...
The other Galad recalls in and I'm talking to him. Nana comes up and says: Give me my stuff. Of course, I had banked her loot long ago. Me and Galad give her a story that the "other Galad" took it and probably dropped it off at the tower already.
Nana: I will kill you.
Galad: Go ahead.
Other Galad: I wonder if the other Galad will be back?
Galad: Nana do you speak English?
Nana: I will kill you. Give me my stuff.
Galad (ala Chris Tucker): Do you understand the words that are
coming out of my mouth?
Other Galad: LOL!
Nana walks away. Hehe...everyone see that movie with Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker: Rush Hour? Funny stuff!!"

"I'm in Delucia, banking a recent loot when I see a gate open and a ghost come running out. I'm thinking to myself, "hmmmm....I wonder...."
So I run through the gate, and sure enough, there's a dead body there. It's way up in the desert and no one is around. The guy who had cast the gate had left by this time. Talk about an easy loot.
After doing a full-loot I'm looking at all the stuff and notice a chest. I click on the chest and it says that there are no items inside. I'm hesitant about opening it since it could be trapped.
By this time the dead guy has been ress'd and recalls in to get his stuff. Needless to say, when he sees me wearing his clothes and all his equipment is gone from his body, he's way pissed. So I recall out.
I'm back in Delucia and decide to drop the 'mysterious chest' on the ground. An Azn mage comes walking by and decides to open the chest.....KABOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!! He gets mega-poisoned...his health is dropping big time. I'm roflmao at him. He's trying to cast heal and cure but the poison keeps getting in the way. Thirty seconds later he's dead.
I open his body and proceed to take a look. There's a red bag in there with 8 items and weighs 150 stones. A TON of regs is what I'm thinking. Then I get an idea.....
Since my bank box is already open, I take all my equipment off except for a few regs and a recall rune. I precast recall, and with the target cursor I pick up the red bag from the corpse, I hear the guards teleport in, but I quickly drop the red bag in my backpack and target my escape rune. I made it!!!!
My first town loot. Very risky though. I'm currently 3 for 5 with this method of looting. Anyways, I recall back to town when I'm blue again, and bank all the regs I had looted. Both of the guys I had looted are standing there right beside me at the bank. When they notice I'm there, they're hopping up and down, cursing at me, saying what they're going to do me outside of town, etc, etc, etc.
Moral of the story:
1. Never open any mysterious chests you see laying on the ground
2. Even in town, you're not safe from the Galads."
"Man, I hope Captain Crunch reads this board...
He had been after me all night at the Keep, even attacking me
when I was blue. I recall in, see him on a hill fighting an
avenger, but this time I notice he has a guild-mate with him.
I know that as soon as he's finished with that avenger, he and his guild-mate would be on my arse.
I walk further down the road and notice some guy following me. I figure he's after me for either, a: looting one of his buddies or b: for looting him (I can never keep track of all the people I loot).
Turns out he had some important info for me. He tells me that Crunch and his guildmate Phatty were planning on attacking me (of course, I already had figured this) but he's going to help me get them.
He had a plan.......
He flags grey on me and then I run down the road yelling:
Galad: Help! Help! Pk!
The guy who was helping me is chasing me down the road pretending he's trying to kill me. We run right past Crunch and Phatty.
Phatty: An Ex Por
Hehe...good thing I had reflect up. This took Phatty out of the battle....he ended up paralyzing himself and was stuck for quite awhile. Guess he didn't have any trapped pouches handy.
Crunch comes running after me and I lead him right up onto another hill. I appear to be trapped, but it's actually Crunch that's now trapped on the hill between the dewd that was helping me and myself.
By the time Crunch realized it was a trap he only had time to say, "WTF?!?!" just before we killed him.
My first pk....ah, the memories. Of course, this may seem like a waaay lame pk job ..... you had to be there."
[Back just before I left GL for Sonoma, I was just beginning as a looter, with my former "good guy", Dagmar Ismaron.]
So, I'm at the Keep (hehe...)
and I loot some guy. He gets ressed and comes over and starts
spamming me, stuff like: "LOOTER LOOTER LOOTER I'M GONNA
KILL YOU" - you know the types.
I'm like: "Yes, I looted you, so shut up!!" He wouldn't
stop following me around, spamming...
Bah!! Corp Por! Corp Por! Corp Por!
He starts running down the road...
Lamer: PK! PK! PK!...OoooOo ooOo OOoo
Stupid spammers!! When he was ressed later, he was like: Dagmar stay away from me. And: This is my newbie character.
Of course. Same old story. Man, I can't take lamers like that!

"I loot a corpse at the Keep, and recall to the Papau bank.
I ID his weapons and find a silver mace of power. Since it was of no use to me I asked if anyone wanted to buy it.
Someone named Fizban offers me 4k for it. We make the trade, he recalls out, I empty my pack of my other loot and recall back to the Keep.
Upon arriving I see Fizban standing right in front of me getting his butt kicked by an Avenger.
A few seconds later I proceed to loot his corpse and see my old silver mace of power.
Galad: "Hmmm..some of this loot looks familar..."
Fizban: "oooOOoo"
"Okay, here's "poetic justice" for you!!!
So, I'm at the Keep...(hmmm, that sounds familiar)...and this chick dies. Damn, I wish I remember her named. Anyhow, I loot her body and cast Invis. Soon, I'm blue and back to hunting avengers, etc. Later, she comes up and wants her loot. Well, sorry, but I don't think so.
Later, I'm in the Keep, up on the second level fighting an avenger in the middle. The chick comes up and just stands there. When my mana is low, she strikes! Explosion, flamestrike. My health drops FAST!! I chug a greater heal (I thought it was, but my health barely moved - musta been around 20) and she flame me again!! Man, with under 60 resist (damn that!!) I somehow kept my hitpoints above zero - musta been like 1, cuz I was LOW!! I cast greater heal and she recalls out. Bah!!!
So I walk around the road a bit, away from the Keep, and she runs by. She follows me and says how lucky I am she was outta regs. And I'm telling her how lucky she was I was outta mana. (I was kinda lucky, though...hehe...) So she casts Magic Arrow at me. Well, I grab my katana (with my newly GM'd swords/tactics) and proceed to slice and dice her a bit. She runs and casts para on me. I open my trapped pouch...D'oh!!! Forgot to trap it!!
So, I'm preparing for a killer combo, but the idiot casts energy vortex!! Talk about dumb!! I proceed to outrun it and head way up the road, hiding behind a mountain, out of sight. She runs up, but fails to see me. I meditate and get my health up, then head back, with a precast magic arrow.
She attacks me, so I attack her back. She teles up onto a hill, so I combo her: explosion, ebolt. Some guy named mode (no capital "m") runs up and starts healing her - she's grey mind you! So, the rest of my ebolts are useless!! She para's me, but I had trapped a pouch, so I run it for the mountain again, where I meditate my mana back up.
So, ready again, I head down the road. She's there and attacks me yet again. As I start to dish it back, mode comes out of hiding and it's two on one. Whatever, I run back to the Keep, but they don't follow. I guess they were afraid all the blues would attack them?
After a while I head back and she's there summoning a daemon. I continue up the road to my cozy mountain and summon one of my own. Just as it appears, she walk up. I see her say: all kill. I'm like, WTF!! She can't see me - maybe she did an allnames. But before I can react, her daemon attacks MY daemon. Ahhhh!! Stupid again. My daemon dispels hers and I simply say: all kill.
She goes down!! LOL!!!
So, I'm looting her yet again, when this other guy comes over laughing, telling me how nice that was. I'm grey, cuz her flag wore off and I'm looting her. The other guy dispels my daemon, so I go back behind the mountain and cast invis. I don't trust him - attacked him before when he was grey. I know he plays dirty.
Suddenly I hear some commotion. And mode runs past me, but the guy ebolts him and he goes down!! LOL!!! I help loot him as well. Then I go back behind the mountain, cuz the other guy is casting magic arrow. Soon, a mage on a horse and a dex monkey come up and attack this other guy. HE goes down.
I come out and help loot him, too. The dex monkey is telling me how he hates this guy. Then he gives me the regs he looted!! I'm laughing my ass off by this time. The loot is just getting better and better!!
So I head back to the Keep, go inside and check a corpse I notice. Newbie items inside, so I leave it alone and res the guy. Then I walk back down to the entrance and the mage who killed that last guy is getting his butt kicked!! My hand starts itching...
When all of a sudden, UO locks up!! Damnit!!! I log out and try to log back in right away. "Connecting..." for like 2 minutes!! I finally get back on and I'm dead AND looted. ROFL!!! Talk about poetic justice - full circle. Ah, well. Was fun while it lasted.
Anyhow, my wrestling gained .1 so it must've been a warrior or avenger that got me. I tell you, the price of skill... (not to mention FREAKING OSI!!!!)

That's a lesson I learned many times at the Keep when I was a newbie-looter.
Last night at the Keep......
I see 2 ghosts come running down the stairs from the roof. Of course, I have several runes setup for various locations around the Keep so I immediately hit my 'roof-rune'.
The lame-wannabe-looter BBQfish is already there. Fortunately, the avenger that had killed the 2 guys is now on BBQ and it chases him back down the stairs. I proceed to leisurely loot the 2 corpses.
One of the guys gets ress'd and comes back. Boy, was he pissed! I guess it had something to do with the fact that I had over 100 of his regs.
He's talking trash (as usual), saying he's going to get his entire guild after me, yada, yada, yada.
I ask him why he needs an entire guild to get me? Was he not 'man' enough to do it by himself?
I guess I pushed the right button, cuz as I'm recalling out to bank he hits me with a nasty spell combo.
I arrive at the bank thinking, "how the heck did he get regs to attack me with??" Well since he was now grey, I head back to the Keep. My pk skills suck, but I thought I'd give it a try.
When I get back, his friend is casting him a gate to town (since I had looted his town rune).
I attack, but he runs through the gate. I chase him in and attack him in town. I guess he had forgotten that he was grey and I was blue. He calls the guards and 'THWACK...ooOOoo ooO'
Hehehe...I've never seen that happen before... he called the guards on himself...heheh. I check his corpse and there's another 100 or so of every reg.
It was actually a slow night at the Keep."

"I was away last week, but I guess the other Galad was busy!!
PART 1: The Posse
I recall into the Keep last night and start fighting an avenger on a hill. I had just hit it with a FS when some guy named DrK comes up and starts casting FS. He fizzles. I figure he's trying to steal the kill, so I throw a few things at the avenger. Suddenly his FS hits...ME!! I make a break for it - avenger had my health down to 3/4 already and my mana was low. I recall out...
I get back and attack DrK. I para/exp/para when a bunch of others attack me. I run and cast invis deep under the mountains. 4 of them gather, trying to find me... DrK, Son of Ra, LoadHunter and kasaII (as in kasa2, using roman numerals). I guess if you check the updated screenshots on the Galad page, it explains why all of this was happening in the first place.
Anyhow, we scrap back and forth a bit - they had to use allnames to hit me. Finally, I recall out. For the next hour or so I'm recalling in, giving them a merry chase around the top of the Keep, teleporting down and up, back and forth. Another guy joins the posse...Blood.
PART 2: Revenge
Finally I recall to town and most of the posse are at the bank...DrK, kasaII and LoadHunter. Anyhow, I'm laughing at them because 5 of them couldn't take me down.

Galad: And wait for your friends to show - whatever!
After a bit of this back and forth: THWACK!! OoOoooOooOoo
THE GUY ATTACKED ME IN TOWN!!! ROFLMAO!!!!
Needless to say, I looted...and they never said a word thereafter...hehehe...
So I recall back to the Keep much later, and I'm on the roof. Suddenly, one of the posse, Blood, runs by and his health is much less than half - a warrior on his tail. I start to cast para and he runs. He heads downstairs, so I walk to the ledge overlooking the front door, with para precast....and watch him die by the warrior just as he emerges!! LOL!! And he didn't even have anything worth looting!!
PART 3: Foiled Again!!
The other Galad and I had hooked up by this time and began to kill some critters for some fame. Son of Ra shows and says: Oh, two Galads. I'm like: Yeah, gonna attack me now, without your gang? He didn't, of course...
Later, Son of Ra attacks the other Galad up on the roof. Galad recalls (his newbie character, you understand), so I attack the grey Ra. He keeps casting reflection after I take it down. (*lame*) Then he rides inside. I chase him in, casting away. He pulls out a katana and hits me. I run outside to cast greater heal, then unleash a combo...and I freeze!!!
CCCCCCCCOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNN!!!!!!
Needless to say, when I finally log back on, I'm dead. And the prissy is probably gloating to himself about how he killed me. Like I would stand there and do nothing while he hacked me down with a katana. At least I didn't lose much, only some of my excess regs that wouldn't fit in my bank box anyway.
BAH!!! I don't know if it's AOL, UO or OSI, or all of them. But they can all go to hell!!! Hehehe...AOL sux la ^^"

I decide to take my newbie Galad to Deceit to work some fighting skills. All I had in the bank was some green GM armour, so I grabbed that and headed to the dungeon. So I'm there fighting the bone knights, when the hourly Reds show up.
Being a looter, I've had plenty of experience evading pk's so I was able to watch without getting killed while the Reds took down several guys. I switched to looting mode and proceeded to loot the Red's kills.
The Red's didn't seem to care that I was grey, but once they saw my green GM armour, they definately took an interest in me. I was about to recall out when I noticed I was way overloaded.
Fortunately, I had looted a Gate scroll and proceeded to cast it. I targeted my rune for the temple on the southern island (the guard zone area).
I yell out to the reds, "So long suckers, I'm off to my house to stow this loot" as I run through the gate.
I'm now waiting in the guard zone area to see if any of the Reds would be stupid enough to come through.
Sure enough, one comes through and the guard makes quick work of him. I had to make 3 trips to the bank and back just to carry all the loot that the Red was carrying. Twas a lucrative night."
"Here's a story from when I used to be 'good' and played on Great Lakes:
Goodguy (at the time a notorious thief) had been bothering us all at the orc fort for several nights in a row. He would keep stealing from us, then run away. He had a really good connection and may have been using UOE's fastwalk option, cuz we good never catch up with him. We'd see him in town later, and he'd be acting like a jerk. We all vowed to get him some day.
A few days later, I'm out in the middle of nowhere (between Pap and Delucia) and I see this guy stuck on this tiny hill. He had used a teleport scroll to get there to escape an ettin that was on his butt. Being a newbie, he had no regs and couldn't have used them anyways since he had no magery skill. He had tried to page a GM but it was outside GM hours and thus stuck there for quie some time.
Being 'good', I teleported up and offered to cast a gate to town for him. Turns out that Goodguy was in town standing right beside the area where my gate appeared. He runs through and appears on the hill beside us.
He immediately starts stealing from the guy that I was helping before he could get through the gate. Realizing that this was my chance to get Goodguy, I went into action.
As soon as the newbie escaped to town, I cast An Grav and the gate winked of out existance, thereby elimanating Goodguy's escape route. As soon as he realizes who I was, he makes a run for it. Then he finds out that there was nowhere to run since he was stuck on the hill. (he had no recall regs to escape with either).
I took my time with him...I'd hit him, tab out, wait a few mins, then hit him again, tab out, etc. The whole time he's begging on his knees for me to spare his life and gate him back to town. I must have taken about 5 mins to kill him...a slooow death.
After looting him, I recall back to town. About an hour later, I decide to head back to that hill to see if Goodguy was still there. Sure enough, his ghost was there so I teleport up and ress him.
Was he pissed!!!!! He had been stuck there for an hour since it still wasn't GM hours yet. Since he was being so rude, I left him there again.
I saw him the next day at the orc fort and he told me he was stuck there for almost 3hrs.
Funny thing is that we later become friends once I became evil ."
Hehe...this is always funny as hell...
Summon a daemon and get it to follow someone. Usually freaks em right out! Last night someone was passing my house and stopped, so I summoned a daemon and removed it from the house...then had it follow the guy outside. DAMN DID HE RUN!!!! Didn't take him long to recall out...ROFL!!! Funny as hell...

"OK, last night was funny as hell.
First off, there was a guy their named Vlad ????? He was talking to Mojo Jr. and said lets kill him. I popped up and said "Who you gonna kill?" Vlad replied "Galda or what ever his name is". I promptly asked him if he wanted help, and he said yes. So now WhoopAss is running around with this guy and sure enough Galad pops up. I inform Galad that Vlad is going to try and kill him and that I would help. Galad said "wtf". And I said "watch!" So Vlad attacks Galad, and the next thing I know my ebolts start hitting Vlad instead of Galad. HAHAHA, too bad an avenger started eating the crap out of me, but I showed up just in time to see him go "Uuuugggghhhhh". Nothing funnier than tricking a guy to go grey!! I knew Galad could handle this guy alone, but I still wanted to warn him by telling him Vlad was gonna attack. I hope this helped a little!!"
"Well, last night there I was, new title and all. This guy RZA was just getting SOOOOO PISSED that I kept looting all his kills. So RZA goes up to Lam and says "Lets kill him" So I decide to try instigating. Handing out murder counts is fun, even BBQFISH was handed one yesterday!! Anyway, I finally convice RZA to come out by the side of the keep to fight. Only he won't attack me. And unfortunately WhoopAss has 4 murders already, so looting as a red just wont work. After a couple minutes of "You attack", "NO YOU", I told him if he wasn't going to attack me then I demanded he go and kill a warrior, I need more loot.
About 5 minutes or so later, here comes RZA running up to me and tells me "I wanna be a looter too". "I am sick of everyone always getting my shit, now I want theirs" He proceeded to ask me "How do you loot so fast" and I told him PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. This might not be the funniest of stories, but had me cracking up. Here is a guy who 5 minutes ago wanted to kill me, now he wants to be just like me!!"
"Then there was the time I was making my
rounds at the Keep. I head downstairs, and down this one hallway
I just glimpse some bones mostly hidden by a wall. Well, I'm not
one to pass by a corpse without at least looking, so I open the
corpse...and it's full!!! Mind you, it's bones, so I have to work
fast!
So, after I finish looting what I wanted, I continue back down
the hall and see the ghost and someone else standing behind a
wall with a couple warriors on the other side. Hmmm...
I go over and res the ghost, to get on their good side (remember,
I'm the "good" Galad, hehe) and the guy asks if I saw
his corpse. I *ahem* lie and say, no. He's like: "Oh, well.
It probably deteriorated." Then he's talking to the other
guy, who must be his friend, while I wander over and lead the
critters back toward them and run off the screen to hide.
Some time passes and I head back to two ghosts. LOL!!! I lead the
critters back to the other side of the wall and loot the guy -
OVERLOADED!!!!
Then two guys show up. The kill the critters and the ghosts are
OoooOo ooO Ooo'ing to them. They ask me what's up and why I'm
grey. I tell them that my friends got killed so I grabbed their
stuff. But could they res them...silence...so I hide...
One of them is like: "Hehehe" (at least they weren't
Azn gang-bangers) and from their snickering, I know what's gonna
happen, so I start stowing the least valuable loot in a pack and
set it down beside a wall so that it's out of view. As they
reveal me, I recall out to the bank and drop off my loot. Had to
stop off at the house, which was a pain. But when I got back, the
pack was still there!!
Talk about a double full-loot combo!! KEKE ^.^"
"I log onto Atlantic to start my new Galad
character and noticed that I already had a character started
named Galad. This was a LONG time ago when I first bought the
game. I was planning on playing on Atlantic but then I got pk'd
right away so I then decided to start on Great Lakes.
So I log the old Galad character on, and I'm dead at the Brit
cemetary. The screen comes up asking me if I want to report
Grundel for murdering me, so, of course, I do.
I'm walking around as a ghost watching 3 guys fight some critters.
Then I realize that one of the dewds was named Grundel!! I'm
thinking that there's no way this could be the same guy, unless
he likes to hang at the Brit cemetary alot.........I click on him
and notice that he's now Red.
Turns out it WAS the same guy and he must have had 4 counts
already. My reporting him a YEAR later turned him red.
I become visible as a ghost trying to get the attention of the
other 2 guys. One guy has spirit speak, and I tell him that
Grundel is red and he pk'd me. Grundel still hasn't noticed that
he's red. The guy ress's me and then he and his friend go after
Grundel.
Grundel finally realizes he's red and goes "WTF!!!!!"
followed by "OoooooOoo oOoO"
I then proceed to loot him clean. Moral of the story: Galad
always get his revenge."

"Then there was the time when (evil) Galad
had a posse after him. (Wait a sec, he always has a posse after
him!!) Anyway, back when he had started a new character on Sonoma.
So he shows up at the Keep and tells me about this posse at the
Orc Fort who had attacked him, claiming he had killed one of
their number. Strange this was, cuz it wasnt either of us. (We
later learned one of our fans had started up a Galad and did some
pking at the fort, hehe...)
So, we head back to the Fort and there are like 5 guys there.
They attack us out on the road, so we give them a good chase,
with a little fighting. I almost had one guy, but his friend
healed him just before my explosion finished him off.
Unfortunately, they para'd evil Galad and - his character being
new, and them gang-banging - he went down. Meanwhile, I was
invisible under the cover of some mountains. Well, while the guy
I had attacked loots him, the others are standing there laughing
and gloating. (sheesh!)
But, I notice that the guy I almost killed earlier had low health!
Hehehe...I unleash a combo and he goes down. I'm sure his "ooOOo
OooOo ooO" meant: "WTF!?!?!?!" ROFL!! His friends
are like: "Where did that come from?" So I boot out and
loot him before they clue in. Their attacks fade as my Kal Ort
Por carries me to the bank.
When I recall back, I res Galad and he is laughing at the guy I
killed. I guess he was pretty pissed. Hehehe..."
Here's an account of the first time I was bit
by the looting bug...
This was way back in my GL days, when me (formerly Dagmar Ismaron)
and Galad had started up a "good" guild called: WOE -
Warders of Evil. It was a nice try, anyway.
So we were up at Cyclops Valley with two of our new guildmates.
We were fighting cyclops' and letting our new friends take the
kills for fame and karma. Some other chick was hanging around us,
all in a nice brownish outfit. She runs off as we continue to
fight.
We finish the cyclops and his brother, so I head north along the
road to lead another cyclops down...and lo!! A corpse!! Hmmm...well,
I decide to loot it for the chick so I can give it back to her. (Remember,
this was before I changed my name to Galad!)
So I get back and she shows up, all newly ressed, while we're
fighting a new cyclops. I tell her I got her stuff and start
dropping it on the ground. She's so happy, although I didn't get
anything good. But I had to set a 'good' example for the new guys.
;)
After one of them finished the cyclops, he says: "You can
have the loot, Dag." I thank him and go to the corpse. *STING*
I open it and inside are two packs the same color as the clothes
of the chick I just helped. Muahaha!!! I grab the packs, and head
up the road like I'm going to grab another cyclops. Instead, I
recall to the bank and gleefully sort through, and bank, a nice
helping of loot!!
I eagerly shared this adventure with the already "experienced"
Galad later that evening. We decided we would keep our secrets
vices to ourselves, especially when our guildmates were around.
But it wasn't long before the loot gods led us to our destiny:
Sonoma!!
And thus ended my looting virginity...after all, I am a
consenting adult, and my victims are corpses...LOOTING!! I'm
talking about LOOTING!!!

Then there was the time when Galad and I tried
our hand at PK'ing people...ROFL!!!
Again, it was back in the days of GL. I was Dagmar and he was
Galad...but not the Galad of fame that you know now...yet!
Well, Galad had heard the exciting tales of being a PK and wanted
to try it. I was all for it - sounded fun!! So we head out on our
mission of destruction. As we're making our way along the road
north of Papua, Galad tells me that the next person he sees he's
going to kill. Hehehe...he had the PK bug.
Soon we run across someone and he shouts: Hail! Galad gets close,
talking away, when I hear a *ching* from his trusty kryss. The
guy is hurting bad as Galad starts punch holes in him. I was
nervous at this point to take a count, so I stayed back and
watched Galad finish him off. 'Twas funny...until Galad ressed
the guy...
The guy is like: "What did I do?" Galad, too busy
looting, doesn't answer. When he finishes, we head north, across
the river. The victim follows us. "What did I do?" So I
finially say: "Nothing. We were just starting as PKs."
The guy says, okay and wanders off. I felt terrible!! Poor guy!!!
I remembered all too well a few run-ins with PKs. :(
But my guilt wore off soon enough. The next time we were out, we
headed south to an ettin spawn area, east of Delucia. There are
two guys there, so Galad and I approach. They shout: Hail! So I
ask: "Can you guys heal?" They say they are sorry, they
can't. "Good! Corp Por" LOL!!! They ran pretty darn
fast, and led Galad and me on a merry chase. We ended up getting
one...I finished him off with my bow as Galad was disecting his
liver. (My first count...)
Next, we head up to the ruins where fighting skeletons used to
make you a good profit, before the stinking patch! We get there
and there is a corpse with a newbie-looking guy standing nearby.
Galad starts looting and the guy is like: "Tell him to stop!!"
I say: "Okay...Corp Por" The guy runs screaming as
Galad finishes looting the corpse. Before I get very far chasing
him, he runs back with a couple friends...one a mage on a horse (and
I was still a fair newbie myself.) He says something menacing, so
Galad and I break for it as the 3 attack us. Just as I cast
recall I see an energy field drop in front of me...but my Kal Ort
Por carries me to safety...
Hehehe...well, it was shortly after this that we headed to Sonoma,
but it was fun playing the punk for a while. How were we to know
that soon we would play the master? Muahahaha...
Now here's a funny-ish one for you...
Not too long ago, I decided to really make an effort to get my 7xGMs.
I was there with Swords, Tactics, Wrestling and Magery. But I
also wanted to get my INT up to 100, so I pop into Papua bank and
drop off all my worldly possessions. Next, clothed like an NPC, I
head into the bakery and set up a macro to evaluate an NPC's
intelligence.
I left that running as I setup pcAnywhere, then headed off to
work. Throughout the day I would connect from work to home with
pcAnywhere and check on my increase. (Yeah, right!! 91.1 Eval
takes a LONG time to raise!!!)
Later in the afternoon, I get an email from Galad. He's laughing
because he ran into me, and decided to macro snooping on me with
another of his characters. (Not named Galad.) I log on and say:
hi to him, then disconnect and get back to work.
A little while later, he tells me that some guy is trying to kill
me. WTF? He says the guy started talking to him, not know he was
a friend of mine, telling him how much he hates Galad (probably
him though, hehehe...) blah, blah, blah...so he cast poison on me!!
But this is a newbie character and Galad has no regs anyway. D'oh!!
I log on to see my health down to like 10!!! I also see a couple
corpses of "a thief" lying around. Hehehe...I guess
someone who was miffed at us created a mule to come on and
assassinate me. I don't see Galad (using his other character), so
I make a break for the bank. Unfortunately, playing UO from a
remote computer makes the lag 50 times worse!! I was running into
walls, missing open doors, etc. Finally I get to the other side
of the mage shop and I see "a thief" approaching. I
laugh and say: nice try, and give him the dire warning that I
would kill him out of town if I saw him.
Now, he keeps running in front of me to block me. And it was hard
to avoid him with my pcAnywhere lag!! But suddenly Galad shows up
and cures me!! Woohoo!!
An Nox...THWACK!!! A thief poisoned me again!! LOL!!! Galad cures
me and we head to the bank where he heals me up to full. Then we
go to our infamous hiding spot underneath the Pap bank and start
macroing again. I bid Galad farewell, since I must get back to
work, and disconnect.
Yet again, I get an email from Galad that a theif is about. LOL!!
I hook up again and I'm poisoned. Galad is out of a reg, so he
can't cure me. I open my box and painstakingly take out some regs
to cure myself.
This time, a thief shows up (by his other corpses) just out side
the bank with a counselor. I say: How ya doing? Then Galad and I
recall out to Delucia, where I log out so I can get some work
done!! But I wish I had been at home at the time!!
What a lamer of an assassin though!!! LOL!! I never did find out
who he was..."
