An Adventure on the Sonoma Shard
Galad recieves an ICQ from a guildmate saying that they had just gated everyone at the YMCA (Yew Merry Center for All: A Player-Run Establishment) to Galad's house! Galad can't help but put in an appearance.
The guests hang around a bit and talk, but Galad decides to spice things up by offering to take the group on a special field trip.
Galad can't help but gate them to his favorite Wyvern-infested island.
Frenna, Khalid, Phinn Drago, and Trelenan make the mistake of actually going through the gate.
Galad immediately hides and watches the chaos. Poor Frenna. She died instantly.
It appears that Phinn Drago is having a bit more success in surviving as he has a very quick horse. Although, he probably shouldn't have run straight into the dead-end.
After devouring Phinn's steed, they quickly set off after Trelenan and his ostard.
Khalid comes out of hiding and attempts to gate the ghosts back to civilization. Galad comes out of hiding and dispels the gate before anyone escapes.
Khalid opening a gate left him wide open to a Wyvern attack. Galad uses the distraction to loot the corpses.
Things aren't looking good for Khalid...
After looting the bodies, Galad gates the ghosts back to his house. Trelenan takes the opportunity to confess that he had been gated to Wyvern Island once before...
