Won't You Be My Neighbor?
An Adventure on the Sonoma Shard
Galad recalls to his house to drop off some loot and sees that he has some company. On closer inspection, he sees Lord tamer - A fellow who tresspassed in his house earlier in the week and was attacked, but not killed. Tamer must want revenge to have brought his cronies with him.
Galad immediately hides when he realizes they are plotting his death. Because, well, he's not well known for his fighting ability.
Galad quickly removes the party from his house. He realizes that this could be a messy one and calls for backup.
Galad tries to stick it out while his friends rally at his house. Soon, Angelica starts hurling Meteors at Galad from outside!
A Gate appears and Dreadnaught, kingtoad, and Old Dirty Bastard hop out, scaring the posse back to their house, which is just screens away.
Acting as the lure, Galad goes to draw Lord tamer's attention to take him back to waiting LuTers. His "Hi" gets greeted with "Vas Ort Flam."
Tamer manages to survive the onslaught long enough to recall.
Kelly is just standing around watching the events with no worries. I love when blues think no one will attack them. Galad strikes first and the rest of the guild follows his lead.
Unexpectedly, a gate appears and tamer re-enters the fray with a dragon! But instead of having the dragon kill everyone, he takes it into the house....odd.
Angelica sees Kelly's fate and comes out to stop the violence. Galad won't stand for it. Again he starts the assault and the guild follows.
It appears that the adrenaline rush of battle may have been too much for Galad.
Angelica once again emerges to retrieve her belongings and is approached by Galad.
Here's the scene during a brief cool-down/regrouping period.
Lord tamer comes onto the balcony to duel with the newly-red Galad. He throws a paralyze spell while Galad flings a meteor his direction. Tamer then retreats into the house.
LuT heads back to the headquarters to regroup as well. Within minutes, the sound of horses are heard and the screen fills up with warriors from !G!, TAB, ObS, :-), D*A, and a few independents as well, all ready to spill LuT Blood. They quickly surround the house.
Lord tamer comes to the house and insults us quite openly since we've killed most of his friends at some point.
Hmmm....tamer seems not to care that there is fighting going on all over the place around him...
Kingtoad goes outside to see if perhaps Lord tamer lost his connection.
Hmmm...It appears he did.
Dreadnaught decides the Mare looks like it's gone lame, and needs put down.
Well it had to happen once didn't it? I'm not sure who got me, but I think I can give credit to Wonko the Sane for it.
The enemy retreats to their house once more and there it a bit more battling. These were the last few casualties, although Wife in Training died several times.
This was about the only bad thing to come of the night. I want to thank everyone who participated, LuT and otherwise, it was fun, no matter how pissed people got.
